On May 18, 2009 Gary Falle, Associate Vice President for Federal Governmental Relations, announced the introduction of the University of California Federal Stimulus Opportunities website: http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/economicstimulus/.
As federal stimulus funds are being disseminated from federal agencies and as additional information, including compliance information, is being distributed, UC has developed the website to provide campuses, faculty, researchers, students and staff with the latest information on grant opportunities, agency updates as well as compliance, review and accountability information.
The site will cover the diverse research occurring across the University of California system, though will not have all stimulus information that is available. Accordingly, faculty, researchers and administrators are urged by Gary Falle to work with campus governmental relations representatives and to monitor the federal agencies specific Recovery Act websites for additional information not covered in this site.
