SAE Backfile now available, coverage 1906 – present

The papers from the Society of Automotive Engineers are now available to UC Davis users in full-text going back to 1906.  Previous access to papers was limited to 1998 – present.

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Digital Library provides access to thousands of SAE Technical Papers covering research in all areas of mobility engineering including ground vehicle, aerospace, off-highway, and manufacturing technology.

Description:
Students use Wikipedia — but have you ever thought of asking them to contribute content to Wikipedia? In this short workshop, LiAnna Davis and Jami Mathewson from the Wiki Education Foundation will explain best practices for using Wikipedia as a teaching tool. In contributing content to Wikipedia, students gain skills in media literacy, fact-based writing, research, collaboration, and critical thinking. You’ll learn how Wiki Ed can support you and your students in this innovative service learning assignment.
